CHAREKH

The place “Charekh” is named after the name of maharishi charakh.

Maharishi Charak, also known as Acharya Charak, is revered as the "Father of Ayurveda." He is best known for authoring the Charak Samhita, a comprehensive text that serves as a cornerstone of Ayurvedic knowledge.​

·  Maharishi Charak was an ancient Indian sage and physician, believed to have lived around the 2nd century BCE.

·  He is best known for writing the Charak Samhita, one of the foundational texts of Ayurveda (the traditional system of medicine in India).

·  Charak was a disciple of Atreya, a legendary physician of ancient India, and is considered a master of internal medicine (Kaya Chikitsa).
